Disabled Veterans therapeutic fishing retreat.
Through the support of the Iowa DNR, DAV chapter 53, DAV Chapter 6, DAV Iowa Financial Committee, and the community surrounding Lake Rathbun, The Veterans Casting Away Disabilities (Castaways) board is able to create a therapeutic fishing event for veterans in Iowa and surrounding states to fish and build community with their fellow veterans.
This event is 100% funded through fundraising and donations to provide our veterans with the best experience possible!
